Overview
Trek through the Tukad Melangit river ravine to reach Pura Tirta Harum, a hidden forest temple on the boundary between Nyalian and neighboring Tamanbali. This half-day adventure offers Nyalian's most immersive nature-and-heritage combination — genuine physical activity paired with cultural depth. Pura Tirta Harum is a kawitan (clan-origin) temple of the Mahagotra Tirta Harum lineage, set inside forest terrain at the edge of the Tukad Melangit gorge. The temple is reachable only on foot, creating an adventurous, off-the-beaten-path experience. Your guide leads you through uneven forest and ravine terrain, with stops at scenic viewpoints. This package is recommended for active travelers, trekkers, and nature photographers comfortable with forest trekking. Small groups are preferred to preserve the site's quiet character.
